Diving Into The Golden Sea - Poem by Adrianne Hemenway

The golden sea is a life with Christ and going where He leads.
Although so many times where He wants us, we don’t want to be.
Gold is sacred to some and they love it more than they love God.
They will leave their loved one’s just to be near it.
They will wear it wherever they go.
Yet they don’t understand that God was the one
who created them and that gold.
They hold onto their lives and forget about their maker
So God devised a plan so wise,
“Because He so loved the world, He gave His only Son,
That whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
The golden sea is where Jesus is and to do His will we must as well.
So diving into His golden sea is part of God’s plan,
So diving we must so His will will be done.
