Do You Regret Me - Poem by clay brady

You used to love me
but that was long ago
Id remind you
but you already know

i havnt forgotten
what you said
and everything
that made me dead

You used to be my world
but that came crashing down
i have nothing left
but enough tears to drown

you wont even visit my grave
when im dead
you dont even regret
the things you said

you killed me with love
thats a great big lie
you lied to my face
that you cant deny

when you said you loved me
did the words burn your tongue
did you even like
your songs that i had sung

when you took my hand
and looked me in the eye
was it part of the plan
to make me cry

i hope you know now
that im gonna die
its your knife in my back
so dont apologize

when they asked what happened
what will you say
when karma comes to find you
how will you pay

when they find the note
with your name on the top
will you regret
a death you couldve stopped
