Dolls Poem by Mayjorey Dellosa Buendia

Dolls

Some born like paper dolls
Hand-drawn and made with scars
Dresses and stuffs made from paper
Their pride and joy found deeper

Some born like barbie dolls
Glitz and glamour made with stars
Always on-the-go, keepin above par
Shoot high, dream even higher

What if they switch places?
Challengin each other's graces
Paper dolls shootin crown without hesitation
Barbie dolls wearin paper on meditation

But for me, it doesn't matter
Though one thing makes me bother
When fools ask, 'What are you made...plastic_barbie or cheap_paper? '
Inequality or In Equality...you decide!
