Don'T Let Me Fall - Poem by Laura Dunne

You dropp my hand
and turn to leave
you should have stayed
but things aren't that easy

what have i done to you
did i chase you away

i try to grab your hand, i'm falling
i brush your fingers gently
please keep ahold of me
don't let me fall so quickly

It's in your eyes
you can't let me fall
you slowly turn
then start leaving

i cry for me
you're moving on so easy

i try to grab your hand, i'm falling
i brush your fingers so gently
please keep your hold on me
don't let me fall so easy

When you needed a friend in me
i was there to lean on
when i was close to tears
you gave me a shoulder to cry on
