Donuts - Poem by Herbert Nehrlich 2
A donut has so many fans
it's hollow in the middle,
don't take a donut to the dance
if you intend to fiddle.
The Winchell kind is also round
and most of it is hollow,
that's why its owners have been found
too dull and dumb to follow.
However, what they do invoke
is Jesus Christ the Saviour,
it does explain the little joke
and also the behaviour.
