Dream - Poem by anthony creelman

I woke up this mourning
In a cold sweat
Chest in pain
No one around to hold me

I woke up this mourning
Cause I dreamt of you
I dreamed of our marriage
I dreamed of our life
I dreamed of us
Dreamed of my wife

I woke up this mourning
I woke up blue
I woke up and all I can think is of you
All the pain that was caused
All the pain that we'll see
Will all vanish
Cause love will overrule

I woke up this mourning and all I can say
Is I love you
