Dreamcatcher Poem by Elisha De La Rosa

Dreamcatcher

Rating: 5.0

King of dreams have awaken
Upon the nightly sky
His mind filled with colorful images
He is the king of our imagination, of our kind

Capture the evil thoughts of our mind
Capture them by his woven thread
Nightmares of all kind
Should fear for the king is near my bed

His crown, golden rim
Filled with many dreams
He sees what we are dreaming
Our gateway from reality

Yet, even we think we feel pain
It is just the vision from the past
Even the future is colorful to the plain
These dreams will never pass

Dreamcatcher feeds on our minds
Not durning the awake of day
It is complicated because of the time
But, he only walk with moon at night

His silver sword cuts the souls
Whom enters our minds
Demons hidden in his veiw
They shall go because they know, he knew!

He walks among everyone's dream
Silent and steady he moves to another...... sleep
revealing the happiness we have hidden within
He rule out the happiness to his bidden

The night rolls to a stop
For daylight had come
We are awke for it is time for the king to leave
'For it is time for me to sleep, '
He says, 'For tonight I shall reap'
He shall reap tonight in our dreams
