Dreams - Poem by Nicole Yates

They all listen but still don't know
The tears were all crying, so hard to show
I took out my eyes
Looked at my dreams
Premonitions of suicide
Haunt me
I can't find a reason
But I always want more
To feel what it's like
Not to be in control
lose all faith
Deny all trust
Chasing nothing
It's never over
This sick little game
Where you scream
I run
I'm bleeding too
Yet you stand still
Watching me in the corner
Dying all over again
Like the dreams before
