Dreams do come true. If the dreams are followed, then change may occur. As to LH poem above, it is clear that dreams allow you to fly into the future and sometimes into the past. If you let them die, then so shall you lie. (Report) Reply

    - Hold on to your dreams or your life is simply worthless. Life is a broken-winged bird... what a lovely phrase. (Report) Reply

Dreams can be nightmares so make sure you hold to the right dream.
Holding fast to a dream isn’t very practical for those with real life experience- rarely do they come true, rarely do they last, and rarely are they everything you imagined when achieved. If the loss of your dream leaves your life “a barren field Frozen with snow” most of us are screwed.

    Hold fast to dreams
    For if dreams die
    Life is a broken-winged bird
    That cannot fly.
    Hold fast to dreams
    For when dreams go
    Life is a barren field
    Frozen with snow.

    a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.- - - - - - - - - - - - that is a heart-breaking image... a bird is bred to fly, it yearns to fly, it needs to fly, It will struggle to fly until it dies of exhaustion. Does sound like a person who can no longer dream.

A nice poem that inspires us to reckon dreams so that the broken winged bird flies at ease.
