Weeping Willow

Dried Flowers - Poem by Weeping Willow

Winds blowing it's petals
through the grass
Dried flowers as it turns
to ash
Somber mood
Watching it as it dances
upon the ground
Delicately
deteriorating little pieces
at a time
Disintegrating into the soil
Buried deep beneath
the shadows
Life waits for spring
to come
Cold winds bring change
of summer to fall
Life stands still
As darkness
falls
Cold winter begins
to slowly sneak in
Chilling my bones
before it begins

The movement of shadows
has begun
Life now sleeps
Concealed into deepness
Waiting for the sun.

Very amazing imagery you have drawn in this poem that amazes mind definitely. Darkness falls down and still life stands with wise hopes. Cold wind brings change and life gets nice joy. Wise and amazing poem shared....10 (Report) Reply
