Drugs And Regret - Poem by William Wayne

do you know what i'm feeling like?
I need your love
do you know what i'm feeling like?
to see me through
do you know what i'm asking you?
do you know what i'm feeling like?
do you know what i'm on?

I need your love to see me through
oh, enlighten up yourself
it isn't very hard to do
just enlighten up yourself
feel the drugs and regret in you

do you know what i'm feeling like?
I need your love
do you know what i'm feeling like?
to see me through
do you know what i'm asking you?
do you know what i'm feeling like?
do you know what i'm on?
enlighten up yourself, enlighten up, enlighten up

I'm scared to wake up
I'm tired of life
Too much Is never enough
when you've lost what's right

I don't have to try
I just dial it in
I've never found a job that for me was worth bothering
I got a ton of selfish genes and lazy bones
beneath this skin

Call me Selfish but I wanna win

I'm messed up
So I look for love
I like the search
And
Lord Knows I've looked all across the universe
Every day I hate getting what I don't deserve
what hurts the most
tomorrow's gonna be worse

do you know what i'm feeling like?
I need your love
do you know what i'm feeling like?
to see me through
do you know what i'm asking you?
do you know what i'm feeling like?
do you know what i'm on?
