Eastern Star - Poem by Todd Kramer
Today, I am in a rythem
my mind is not poeticly driven
but I think of you at a far
are you viewing the stars
as I am from a far
I spy the brightest star
In the eastern sky so far
I dream it is you looking upon
a warm feeling comes to thy heart
then I am sad, for you are so far.
Then my mind sheads this terrible fog,
I realize you are not so far,
you are on this big blue marble of ours
not so far as that distant star.
