Rookie - 2 Points (wilkes barre, pa)

Elegy - Poem by melissa mundy

Behind the prison bars
in the metal cage
which holds her,
she draws his rage
over and over
again.

Portraits of anger
hang unframed
on empty muted walls.
A faceless picture
of a man no longer here
he will never really die.
