Endless Compromise - Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Tired of the lies,
no more compromise.
Shield myself away,
pull back another today.
Always with a smile,
acting like a child.
Breaking hearts is fun,
thought you were the one.
Always make me cry,
wish that I could lie.

To tell you I hate you,
though it's simpley just not true.
Easily tossed me aside,
can't believe you lied.
Secrets hidden away,
ashamed to share a day.
Running from your fears,
hiding silent tears.
Playing with my heart,
hoping we wouldn't part.
Cant change whats out of control,
climb into a hole.
Never want to see you again,
you're a shitty so called friend.
A lover with a lie,
this love you dare deny.
Lonely nights and let downs,
sad talks and low frowns.
I could never try,
to fixe what you would hide.
Ashamed of who you are,
you're a shameless fucking liar.
Break my heart in two,
I do not love you.
