Enough To Love - Poem by Racell Tan

We know what we want to see in those we love
What we see in ourselves is never enough
Don't want to let them down
Even in the storm i cannot drown
I've someone to answer to
The doors just won't let me through
I stuck, unsure, questionning, worried
Their faces, i could not read
Tell me straight what you want from me
Choose what you want me to be
I won't promise to try my best
'Cause i'm tired and need my rest
Look at me and don't you lie
Will you cry for me when i die
Or lament that i've not done enough
I'm sorry but i can't be tough
