Such an excruciating desire
To live in her eyes like dream
And to have devotion to the way
Her necklace caresses her skin,
It was destiny that we met!

I immoderately drink in the starlight
And whisper poems and prayers
To promenading ghost lovers
On a summer avenue of flowers,
I live with a poet’s heart and wonder
Where is she tonight
And will we ever meet again?

Life is without meaning
And the hereafter purposeless
If you fail to be drunk
On the essence of a woman.
