Eucalypt Comments

A giant eucalypt crashed to the
ground with an agonised groan.
The earth around it shook, then
settled. As I stood in awe of this

and many of the eucalypt trees have had tragic deaths since you wrote this poem. Never mind, life renews given time. It wouldn't be Australia without the koala bears and the eucalpt for me. Great poem Jerry. Karin Anderson
