Evening Note 27 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Good evening sweet lady
let me start by thanking you
for all your kindness and love.
It means so very much to me
tears come to my eyes from all
the love that you feel and you send.
You're the greatest my sweet Angel dove.
Perhaps finally in a few minutes
I'll finally lay down for some rest,
a doctors appointment awaits me
I'll be thinking of you to
help get me through any boredom and pain.
You provide me with endless strength.
Have a beautiful evening my one and only,
more poems will be coming after a bit of resting.
I can at least hold you in my
arms of writing while waiting for
you to be here in person.
I strive to honor and show you my
deep passionate everlasting love
every day no matter where we are
my true Angel Queen.
So feel me there holding you tight
hand in hand and with a big kiss
I'll now lay down putting the early evening to rest.
I'll be dreaming of you sending
my love and warmth.
I love you sweet lady and
I thank you deeply once again.
