Everybody Steals And Steals - Poem by ion untaru

confusion reigns over the world
leaders tell stories to the rostrum
the oaf steal from the carriages
the politicians bags with jokes

nobody want to work
easier to get out into the street
to scream huuo! , the pile
give us money for the life

everybody steals and steals
nothing remained for us
we are told to keep silence
with the finger to the mouth

romanian version

confuzia domneş te peste lume
la tribună lideri spun poveş ti
momârlanii fură din caleş ti
sacii politicienilor cu glume

nimeni nu mai are chef de muncă
mai uş or e să ieş im în stradă
să strigă m un huuo! , la gră madă
să ni se dea banii la poruncă

toată lumea fură , fură
nouă nu ne-a mai ră mas nimic
ni se spune să tă cem chitic
ş i să ducem degetul la gură

că e fest, că nu e fest
un pro-test cu: “- huoo! ”-n stradă
clatină popicele să cadă
liderii cu guler fest
