Everything Looks Better In A Photograph - Poem by Khembottra Oum
You're on the bathroom floor,
crying your heart out.
to make this pain stop.
Do they truly know you,
You wear the mask perfectly.
Everything looks better in a photograph,
Your eyes tell the whole story.
You pray to the cross,
But you don't know why.
Everyone looks so beautiful.
Is this heaven or is it a lie?
Your reflection speaks to you,
through the bathroom mirror.
Can you make this life more clearer.
