Evil Eye - Poem by Pasquale DiMeola
Taken completely unaware
For what you may have or have not
Who aims what crossbow of a stare
Straight at your life in singular shot
As wounded days become a jinx
With tough luck biting at your ass
Who can you trust among the finks
Cold ushers of the damned Black Mass
Till desperation beats you numb
You ring your neck with devil's horn
To prowl the streets stepping on gum
And curse the day when you were born.
