Exploitation (Limerick) - Poem by Kelly Kurt

Understanding the best that I can
The pitiful condition of man
The claim to be prophet
To gain something off it
Has been more than a flash in the pan

The weirdest thing is how the whole culture supports these nuts who claim they can tell the future and all that.. In India we have got a whole 'organised business' of people who fool others by saying 'prophetic' stuff, and I guess, such things are same worldwide.. It's a pity though, I still haven't found a single one of those prophecies of the world coming to an end because of 'our sins' come true...

P: S: On a completely different note I will believe the apocalypse is near when Donald Trump stops talking like douche...

A fine poem Kelly, loved it..

Yes, we have our own editions of those 'teleevangalists' who owns a private jet and a damn island, and ya 'tax exemption' 'cause yo religion is for public service! !

And 95% of all other candidates.: -)
We have 'Televangelists' that own private jets and multiple mansions that take every last penny of the 'believers' and often dissuading them from medical treatment.

Yes, absolutely correct- it is more than a flash in the pan. And it is no surprise that the human nature remains more or less the same in all parts of the world. There is fun but reality bites. Thanks, Kelly. (Report) Reply

The love of money surpassing everything in many cases. Your limerich certainly describes the state society is in. Well written Kelly, and thanks for sharing it. (Report) Reply
