Eyes Blurry - Poem by Steve Gibson

My eyes open, all I see is her,
Those eyes, I tend to get lost in.
My life, nothing but a blur,
She gave me a look, is it a sin.
Is she a friend, or more than a friend,
All that matters is that she is there,
Better to be a friend, than a fiend.
Where would I be without her, nowhere.
My eyes open, all I see is her.
I could give up, but it would be wrong,
My life, nothing but a blur,
I see her smile, I want to break into song.
When I die, I hope she will know,
The love that lies in my heart of gold.
Life can at times, really blow,
My eyes blurry, I think im sold.
