Fake? Poem by Signature Black

Fake?

Your fake tan,
Your fake nails,
Your fake hair,
In the shape of ponytails,

So much about you is fake,
Who knows what’s really real,
From the colour of your eyes,
To the feelings that I feel,

Am I attracted to you?
Or this image you present,
If my eyes were my mind,
Then I would be content,

But this is not the case,
And my mind searches deeper,
Than applying expensive makeup,
Just to make yourself look cheaper,

Your makeup's a disguise,
That you use and it’s true,
So how is it my fault?
I never saw the real you.
