Fall In Love With

Sitting here, thinking of you, I wonder whether or not it is real, whether I’m meant to be with you.

They say it’s wrong, that I shouldn’t love you, but you can’t help whom you fall in love with.

I know on the outside I may seem normal, that everything is fine, with the new love I have found.

But the truth is, I’m not really in love. My head doesn’t spin when I’m around them, the way it spins when I’m around you, or I see your face.

I may say I love the person, that I will always love them, but the truth is, it is false.

You are the one I love, I know I’m not supposed to love you, because they say it’s wrong, that it’s not natural.

But as I’ve said before, “You can’t help whom you fall in love with”
