Fame - Poem by lacey wittmer

Everybody wants it
They know it's a shame
But they go for it anyway
Only a select number is counted
Very few make it to the top
The hit list as what they are fighting about
People want to be like them
Hell, they even pretend to be them
Fame is a desease
But it is a way to please
This crowd of germs
Take your life
Have ten wifes
They all fall into this trap
To be famous
You have to be ready for all the posers
And brown nosers
So take it
Or leave it be
Cuz nobody wants you on the stage if you can learn to live that way
The ways of Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus?
That's what they go through everyday
So stay at home
Or come out and play
