Farewell - Poem by June Razel Cabildo

Almost a year that our class experienced dear
The pleases all, the bonds we've shared, the happiness
These be in mind the mess as such brought us to bind
Fade not would be - the world might change but not for we
How these events the fresh moments had felt in us
Be forgotten, be overlooked, soon be rotten?
For every time we cherish them upon we climb
The mountains peek and reach the summit for each sake
E'en time grow old, e'en it will die, and turns to cold
But friendship lasts in hearts do dwell though we're outcasts
For they didn't know the affection - the love we sow
Still stand out through, still unite for life, still mem'ries drew
As we look back to recall the past of our destined luck
Various emotions from the year's start tumbled us down
Embarrassments, tearful events, glad-sad moments
The laughing times, the clowny ones, and cheating mimes
Belongingness aparts us not but holds in wholeness
Especially the alibis to make escapes
From the planned trap to capture us from our trust
Deceiving us and corner we the flock of sheep
Not just these be remarkable in part of we
Yet also to the brandedly which could not flee
The pricking thorns that we manifest a Chemistry
Marks on their mind the rusting gold our deceitful kind
Time has ended and almost been a bye indeed
Needed to take another step a stepping stone
To the coming year to spend another folly jeer
To experience the thrill of life no silver could expend
None a great rain to flood and ruin the tower in vain
Still we restore the priceless mem'ry depth in our core
Carved into the midst this sentiment that dwells for lifest
Yet bound us all that we must accept but not a fall
Nothing could express but one exists for such apart
'Goodbye / Adieu' - This seems to be Farewell Word
Amongst us all to bear this word to bade from soul
A right journey may usher us and guide our way
And boast our pride that we be come Peterians!
