Farm Girl - Poem by Hannah Kathleen Whittington

I'm just a small town farm girl
Waiting for life and love to come my way
I'm not ready to see the whole world
I'd rather stay

My childhood slowly slips away
This is such a big mess
Why can't I stay?

My dreams, up in smoke
Down the drain
I feel I could choke
Now here comes the rain
