Farmer's Dream - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul
A hard working innocent farmer dreams,
That his son should be in top
But still he should take care of farming,
If farming will not be done at all
Then what will the people eat?
Will they eat the gold coins
Or will they eat bundles of notes?
If there will be no farming,
No one will get food even having money,
A farmer is important and his son too,
Farming is important for food supply.
Richer is the nation where all
People get food and work hard,
Where a child of farmer gets all facilities,
And he gets due honour, love and care,
Where a farmer's son is well educated,
Where he tops and becomes victorious,
A nation richly fulfills ambition,
When farmers grow and selflessly serve,
Golden greenly days smile with many crops.
A farmer's only dream is to serve others
Proving food and nutrition of good qualities,
A farmer trusts God and selflessly serves,
Righteousness dwells in his Innocent mind,
Farmer works hard whole day to give us food,
We should respect a farmer and his children!
