Faith

Fighter - Poem by Faith

I will not fight against an invisible enemy
Why waste my energy on something that isn't there
To you my thoughts are less than a penny
I thought this pain would be eaisier to bare

When you walked away
At that time I just wasn't what you wanted
Now there is nothing you could say
Our days are not alotted

You left me alone and hurt
Cold and forgotten
I have no longing to be your flirt
Together maybe we were rotten

I still fight, I will always fight
But now, I fight for myself and against myself at the same time
The instinct to fight or flight
Is no choice of mine

I'm a fighter
This is good-bye
