Fireflies - Poem by Akshat Shukla

Fireflies swarming across the dark sky,
The flutter of the eyelashes goes awry.
Wish I could fly like a glimmering firefly,
And kiss the silver pie before I die!

A delightful read..it takes me back to my childhood when i was particularly fascinated by these glowing creatures. You have used lovely imagery once again. (Report) Reply

Simple and sweet. Fireflies always capture a poet's imagination! Nice rhyming! (Report) Reply
