Lacie Simonds

Firsts - Poem by Lacie Simonds

First steps without a guide,
First words from deep inside,
First dollar that I've earned,
First day of school where I've learned,
First pet it was a fish,
Most importantly my first wish,
I'm still waiting for my first kiss,
Don't forget about my first miss,
First time I take a chance,
First time I learn to dance,
First fight with my mom,
First date to a prom,
Second and third are just as fine,
But firsts are truly one of a kind.

I love this POEM so much! ! ! All of the first's are so true. Except I still have years away till I have a date for a prom. Haha! Anyway. This is such a strong poem, that will make people read it over and over again because it reminds them of their precious FIRST memories! Write more, so far your first poem is AMAZING! ! ! Stop by some of my poems if you want. No pressure, but you should defiantly write more poems. Give me a message when you have a new one! (Report)Reply
