Flame Of Anger, Desire And Hope Poem by spiritual seeker

Flame Of Anger, Desire And Hope

Rating: 5.0

Smother the flame of anger,
Before it spread to burn cities and forest,
Douse it with water and good reason,
Thus giving mind and heart a chance for deeper contemplation.

This flame of desire will always be there,
The amber kindle and rekindle as to the heart's desire,
It pushes man to the extreme end to seek their empire,
And the nightly moth plunge into the fire.

O Let the flame of hope be life's beacon,
Even in the deepest darkness.. towards it we turn,
When the face of defeat appears so very imminent,
It is only prayer and hope the helpless souls weapon!

It is very well written. The three flame philosphy, the struggle with emotions wich tend to sway us from the spiritual path. I like the quenching of flame with flame.

This one is a real masterpiece. The three flames inside each of us. Let the flame of hope prevail and call the fire brigade to extinguish the flame of anger. This poem has sooo much wisdom. Excellent.
