Emily Kunkel

Flowers - Poem by Emily Kunkel

red, pink, and white
blooming like my emotions
breaking my heart
dying like my love

Like a game of catch
I threw you a chance
gave you the ball
but you threw it back again
loosing its petals in the process

He loves me
he loves me not
my fate is decided on the flip of a coin
the life of a flower
