Focus Poem by James Dionne

Focus

Remember the darkness when They all ran with the Mud, and the only thing in the sky were the Stars?

Remember the war torn trenches where each man was battered in Blood, and the surface of the moon was seen with Mars?

Remember the Past when we were all Together, and the Night's sky was drenched in Smoke?

Remember how we ran through the ditches and with Tether, and how we picked God's plant and took a Toke?

Focus; the Ends are Enriched in Pollution, the skies are Torn from the Beckoning above.

Focus; our Ends are Ensnared in Commotion, the skies are Destroyed from the Reckoning of Love.
