For Peaceful End Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

For Peaceful End

Rating: 3.5

For peace

Bapy* was symbol of freedom
Simple personality and doyen of wisdom
He knew freedom shall bring disaster
The congress was to be dismantled

How cheap we have made such giant figure?
For centuries to come, he shall be remembered in future
He views, self behavior all spoke of great honor
As nation, we stand high all over

Anything written against him shall pinch heart
He was nation's inseparable part
Any one from the remote part of nation
May speak about his association

He was saint and not politician
Even though he sacrificed life for people of Asian origin
Some may agree and some may argue against
But however, it is weighed with national interest

Why did he say" dismantle the party" after gain of independence?
Why was he in tears for violence?
He cried in isolation
For peace and harmonious relation

Bapu: - father of nation
