Forget Her - Poem by Maia AlmediaAmir
Honey, if only you knew
The deapths of despair I'd
Traversed for you, navigated
By starless sky for you,
Perhaps you'd think twice?
My tongue is thick in my mouth
And my stomach can't afford to eat,
Because I need the money for you -
Obsession, weakness, muse.
My eyes are sore
Because the no-light didn't work,
And the blue-light's going down the
Always been a pigshow lovey,
The red-light 'round the corner's waiting.
Some fresh meat for tasting
Waves to be exploring.
But that's no news to you, right?
My eyes are always sore
Of looking for you in every detail,
Every ba****d thing I see.
It could be you.
Fifi. Kitty. Legion.
Nothing works, does it?
You A-Bomb, you,
You'll drown the great south-west.
And these midnight ramblings,
They never have a point I guess
But pen to paper,
And, between you and me -
It's the closest to love we'll ever be.
