Forgiveness - Poem by joseph freeman
I went to visit God one day;
but for some reason I was turned away.
I didn't know what it could be
that caused Him to turn away from me.
What could it be? What had I done?
I didn't remember hurting anyone.
Then I remembered you hurt me.
I judged you guilty, wouldn't let you be;
because I wouldn't forgive that sin
that sin kept me from entering in.
So I forgave you that very day.
In forgiving you I cleared the way.
