Formerly Formal Poem by Yolanda Metroi

Formerly Formal

Rating: 5.0

Now so lazy
Lacking inspiration
Vision also hazy
The begging temptation
To throw everything I once knew
To leave it all behind
Still trying to pursue
Whatever it is I left that has since then made me blind
My desire to be free
Even though I'm no longer my parent's pride
My plea
No longer as perfect as I once had been
I suppose you can say now
Formerly Formal
