AMBULANCE
The ambulance backed up unexpectedly and three lawyers
were injured
THE NEIGHBOURS
She was furious.Mrs Downing next door
had purchased the exact hat that she herself wore.
"I suppose you will have to buy a new one."
"Well it's cheaper than moving."
TRANSPORTATION
"Does your wife drive your car? "
"No .. it was in this condition when I bought it."
VACCINATION
The epidemic was surging.The harassed doctor called
out "Some of you will have to be vaccinated in the basement."
The erstwhile Mrs. Uppington replied:"Young man I will be
vaccinated in the arm or not at all."
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
"You should have little trouble reaching the age of seventy."
"I am seventy now."
