Temptations subsiding behind closed doors.

Telling me things I don't want to hear,
Grabbing my wrist so I don't slash,
Telling me if I do my whole world would crash,

The pain was to real for you to see,
The monster craving innocence,
That was hiding inside of me.

Take one step forward
Now take two steps back
Was it something that happened
Was it something I lacked?

Cast all our fears upon us,
as we lie here so afraid.
what will happen to us,
what harm shall come to this day?
