Garden Poem by Abdul Wahab

Garden

Rating: 5.0

When I sit alone at dark or dawn
I gaze the beauty of the flower
You planted in my garden

Its shy presence enhances
Not only my nose or eyes
But restores my five senses

With the touch of it
I feel the essence of divine

My imagination goes wild
With the presence of it
Like the bees and butterflies

I drop my thoughts
Share my secrets
To ear of the flower
I whisper my hope

I breathe my dreams
On the growth of every petals
The soil is so kind
I see the flash of smile on the harvest
The voice of god
I listen in the kiss of the sun
The child in me
Dances along with the wind
But I know as a gardener
No two days
And no two gardens
Have the same weather

On a very fateful night
Comes a frost
And does a great damage
to my flower garden
On the curves of shadow
And many grey areas

Which I yet to recover
