Velvet Astraea Dido

Gazers - Poem by Velvet Astraea Dido

peering through your black curtains
vases of exotic leaves
shelves in disarray
your red velvet chair
next to your window
and i wonder
where do you lay?

peering through
your four cornered dimention
a parallel universe far from my own
light til dark
dark til light
we blend in erotic laughter
and i wonder
where would you lay?

peering through
the mirror of your eyes
i change the color of your room
from plain white to maroon
and the laquer still lingers
and i wonder
where should i lay?

peering through
the picture of my soul
you washed off the misery
and filled with countless dreams
in my room now you stay
but i wonder
would you ever lay?
