Jacoby Shaddix

Ghost Man On 3rd

Well my pillow can't take much
And I think I'm hopeless enough

Well my sheets can't hold my dreams forever
And we all know times get better

But it's never good to you to ever just feel alright
Everything I do is wrong to you

Every step I take is another step back
But the prince of any failing empire knows that

Everybody wants, to drive on through the night
If it's the drive back home

Some nights it gets so bad
I almost pick up the phone

But I'm better than this,
I'm better than that

I know life will pay me back
These smiles will mean something

My hearts on return
To the good old days not just the hurt

But it takes some time, it takes some will
But we'll get through this I will I will

There's hope on the horizon
Not every turn is just a dead end

Times will change times will change
We'll end up better, from this

Just a few months and a number of days
Then we're done with this, days will finally feel like days

I'm just hopelessly hopefull

This is good. Hopelessly hopeful. I love that.
