Give Me A Sign - Poem by Gabrielle Cook

I can hear the birds
I can smell the trees
But one thing I can't hear or smell is you
Why can't I hear or smell you?
Just give me a sign
Just one more time
Let me know that everything is just fine
I can hear the birds
I can smell the trees

Dedicated to my late grandmother Joyce W. Milledge
