Glacial Night - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul
In form of glacier this night has appeared,
Rainy night this is but very cold we feel,
Many think winter has come but it is not,
Thick glacial deposits are seen on road.
Full moonlight falling on snow is smiling,
We see faces of stars on surface of snow,
Moon is reflected here and we feel falling,
Night beauty is forming dreamland of love.
Creatures are sleeping but night is awakened,
To watch all and give them beauty of rest,
Nice arrangement is done by nature for us,
Extremely slow movement of snow motivates.
Water crystals are freezing in pond and lake,
But freezing will melt after sleeping in dream,
Light will appear to touch gently and kiss snow,
This melting will flow in stream to river to sea.
