the air is thick with promises, choking the moment
the sky is swallowed by the sea, the rain is ceaseless
my eyes are trapped by your brilliance, you are absent
but here nonetheless.
falling from my palm the glass beads lie in the sand
moments of happiness, irregular and fragile
