God’s Strong Hands Poem by Marilyn Lott

God’s Strong Hands

Rating: 5.0

So you’re sad and feeling lonely
No one seems to even care
Your life has made a dreadful turn
And nothing now seems fair?

Then, my friend, why not change it?
For nothing’s carved in stone
God is there for you always
He can help you to atone

He loves you more than ever now
He knows how much you hurt
If you truly do believe in Him
Peace will come in many spurts

For it’s hard as us mere mortals
To put everything in place
We just don’t know how to do it
Our life we cannot erase

I don’t think we expect too much
When we want to find some peace
To get up in the mornings
To have fear and hatred cease

We can do it if we want to
Just make a list and brand new plans
He will help you, I promise
Put yourself in God’s strong hands!

I'm a very profound Atheist, and even I enjoyed this poem. It just has a 'nice' feel about it, difficult to describe.
