Golden Cage - Poem by ramesh rai

A cage is made
either of gold
or silver else
a cage is a cage
where life is confined with certain limit
life can not go beyond limit.

We all are caged
in the circumstances of life

One day we have to leave our body
within the cage; and the bird will fly.

Topic(s) of this poem: freedom

One day we have to leave our body
within the cage; and the bird will fly. .........Soul is the bird where as body is the cage. Soul will leave this body one day to take next birth as per his or her karma. Very nicely envisioned and presented. Many thanks.

I know why the caged bird is happy. He knows one day he will fly free from the golden cage. (Report)Reply
