Golden Silver Dust, Magical Wanderlust Short Story

Golden Silver Dust, Magical Wanderlust

I. Part One:
She touches the wind and she kisses the sun
She's in love with the moon and the mysteries of the ocean
Everything is undone with the blink of her eye
She holds stars quickly before her dreams die
Awake with a shadow who sits on her heart
Heavy the burden that tears her apart
Dances within tormented memories in her head
Seeking black magic from the foot of her bed

She's nobody's fool and she's no one's keeper
She runs away so that no one can see her
She turns from the things that she hates
Hides inside and pulls down the shades
She loves the darkness and she loves the rain
It comforts her every time she feels pain
She puts on her makeup to make herself pretty
She looks out at the moon then cries herself to sleep

Mistakes and lost promises, she's known more than a few
It takes her back to a past that always blames you
She'll finally trust you to hold her hand
You'll only use her then stab her in the back
She disappears into her own secret land
There she won't be found, just her covered in black

Creepy she is in a haunted cave
She's lost her mind and ability to behave
Lessons she learned are worn on the walls
Her blood shot eyes compliment her howling calls
She sleeps when the sun's out
The night becomes her hunting ground

She still hears the whispers and laughter
Will her life end with a happily ever after
She goes outside to dance in the rain
She looks like she's evil and insane
Mascara's smudges from her eyes down her face
She's an embarrassment and a disgrace
All that she feels will last her a lifetime
It was all the perfect moment, the ultimate crime

II. Part Two:
She lights up the stage as she enters the room
She sees as they look and what they assume
It humors her what they always consume
She's magic, she's beautiful, she's the moon

She's gonna make you feel bright,
She's gonna make you feel shiny and new
Like bats in the night
Wings, dreams, diamonds too
Together we can make it rain
Make you feel crazy inside…insane
She can make it snow from the glow in your eyes
She is the mask of your own disguise

Silver bullets in the sky,
Never feeling the moment when we both died,
Shattered glitter moonlight,

See the stars,
Feel the moon on your skin
She's standing on the edge of the rest of her life
Lost in the dreams that create the night
She sees what the night watchers reveal
But she cannot believe in what makes them real
Taking the innocent beyond her own control
Collecting the tokens that they wish to steal

Unleashing things she doesn't understand
Craving the blood on their unwashed hands
City of darkness, City of Angels,
The world won't know her secrets,
It's between her and the Moon
Soon they'll be no one to tell their secrets to
They'll never know us like we do

Her words have power and her words hurt
Never knowing which way to turn
It's not her fault if you are crazy
Who's the one to blame anyway
Here she is once again in the hot seat
With her right beneath me
Feels the noose as it grips tight
Slits her wrist because it feels right

She's not resisting
She doesn't understand what it is that she is meant to do
She feels the moment in time of what she is becoming
Yet these are the things that she cannot do
How did she get there from here
When she knows her place isn't anywhere
From where she has come…from the moon

III. Part Three:
She tried to fly as she searched for her wings
She's young and beautiful, she's everything
She is everything that she's ever wanted and she has you right where she wants you
She is going to own you for the rest of your life
She owns every last ounce of who you once were
Even after you take your very last breath
Even more so when you meet her in death
She's always been exactly where she wants to be
Because your life was always within her grasp
You forfeited all of your rights the day you met
The day you laid your eyes upon her was your last

She had nothing in life and was betrayed in death
They stripped everything from her including her own regret
When she was alive she felt free
She was young and beautiful, filled with life and dreams

Being graceful with her passions, so she had thought to herself
Made for an artist who had many secrets to tell

Love, passion, lies and murder all made such great stories
She hurriedly wrote them all down in her notebook
Some took seconds to write and others would be her lifetime glories
Her life's work locked away in hopes of publishing a miraculous book

To her, life stood still in her own mind
Living upon all the words that she rhymed
Every moment spent was without time
Until hours turned to years she soon would find

The years and the world seemed to pass her by
Everything left unraveled, unwanted, unsaid
But is wasn't by her own hand because she truly tried
Being scorned, mocked, and left for dead
With all of these taken she asked the world why

Why does the Earth deny her heart's Magical Wanderlust
When the moon accepts her, giving her Golden Silver Dust

All the time spent on the meaning of the pages
The words spoke to her clearly
While she listened through the ages
The voices in her head also spoke loudly

But they forgot to tell her as she finally opened the door
Is that death was knocking as they wrote her own murder

IV. Part Four:
She's an angel, she's a star
She's even more beautiful than before
From the moment she left you
She ultimately became something new

Time was within her hands
Realms were seeking her beyond the lands
She awakened the galaxies that were lost
Everything had beauty, freedom, and lust

She owns the night
When she seeks her sight
She owns your soul
When you are left old
She infected your heart from the time it was young
Each word of the word of the song as it was sung
Played out in her head
You knew them all before it was said

No matter what you thought was true
She's magical, she's free and she's nothing like you

Wherever she goes next from here
She can be seen anytime and anywhere
She cannot be contained or ignored
Neither can her mortality once it's restored

Once she has left you she glitters in the sun
The dust falls, Moon and Earth shall be one
Everything will be as it should be
Only through her eyes will you see

Her life randomly gives you tokens to prove that you were there
So that you can be remembered

She's fast as the wind, she can run all night
She's taking herself further into the light

Her dreams wrap around her soul
While she wraps you around her finger
Adorned with fine gems and intricate skulls
Told a story of everything that lingers

Reminiscent of whom she was during a time that no longer existed
Always being true to what would be expected

At her greatest, she was nothing that you could ever avoid
Her truth was modest but was just enough to destroy

All that is left is everything that she will ever be
Tasting the poison after she leaves
It hides itself in your bones
As she puts on her crown
She sits on the throne
Making all things possible through what she's always known

V. Part Five:
She's meaningful
Her words have power
She's graceful
And with those words, she shall rule them all

Faster they came and faster they would be
The harder they fell the quicker they fell in love
She cast all of her spells into the Dead Sea
They still didn't know what she really was

Her tears came pouring in like floods
Time yearned when the clock stroke blood

No one knew who the world was faced with
But she did
Soon it wouldn't matter
The eclipse came and it shattered

It broke her into millions of pieces all over again
Those that were covering the Earth
In sparkles they fell just like rain
Upon the ones she made feel like dirt
She laughed at their fallen misery
They became blind and could no longer see
She smiled because she created history
They were the ones that could no longer be

She screamed at them all in agony
Hatred filled her heart as she saw their faces
She felt nothing for them, no empathy
It was obvious they knew their places

As they sat before her the blood dripped
Under the moonlight of the wilderness
Thirsty they were for the blood on her fingertips
They came and tasted its bitterness

Midnight came fast approaching
For the ones that the night would take
There wouldn't be any revoking
Frightened by the spell that was awake

Ice and Fire had met in the celestial skies
She changed into what they couldn't
They knew when they saw it in her eyes
She became everything that she shouldn't

To them it was all just a dream
Lightning struck midnight through her veins
She wasn't all what she first seemed
Once her brown eyes had turned grey
The night soon became a fool's daydream
There was nothing left of her that they could betray

She shined brighter than any sun
Yet her soul was of the darkest moon
It was the birth of everything she'd become
She turned dusk to dawn until midnight became noon

Extravagant she was
An artist's true purpose
In all that she does
She was the thorns within the most beautiful rose

What would be of this life we didn't choose
They walked blindly into her spell
Gripping them tightly in their hidden nooses
She knew the story all too well
The storyteller, a soft spoken muse

Thunder could be heard underneath her feet
When she walked she was the world's heartbeat
She knew she couldn't hide it
Hidden inside someone she would never know
She knew she shouldn't fight it
There was nowhere else she could go

She was the soul creator of the storm
Everything that once belonged was torn
Tangled in a warped time that was born
Her grey eyes and violet lips were all that she wore

She didn't know what she'd do
And she didn't know who she was
But for the first time she tasted the Moon
It tasted that of Golden Silver Dust
All the stories she told about her dreams coming true
And it was her very own bitter sweet Magical Wanderlust

VI. Part Six:
~Wings, Dreams, and Diamonds Too
When you thought that you knew you were there
My fantasy became the reality of what you thought that you were
The place where dreams lived outside my head
Where we'll never have to question death

I used my imperfections and inequalities
And I built an entire new world
Created from my buried destiny
Beyond what humanity could ever give
Death became me so that I could live
My fears became truth but death never came

All of my feelings I put beneath
Feeling the burn of the blood through my teeth
The walls are closing in as I scream
Reaching out for life as I cling
Holding onto you so that I can breathe
Breathe into me so that I can be alive

Breathing into a new world of the planets that I created
Winning the war against everything that I ever hated
I'm becoming more than a soul
Forgiving everything I no longer needed to know

Destroying the past that changed within me
Burning in the flames to set it free
Everything became an illusion of what it was supposed to be
No future, present, or past to see
Nothing exists other than my dreams

Diamonds were the wings of my soul
My heart glittering, shining like gold
I felt alive and I was a miracle
Everything I dreamed of lives inside of me and it is magical

A soul within the soul within the soul of my ghost
Beautiful angel surrounded in Golden Silver Dust
When you dream, dream a dream within a dream of the most
Of the most beautiful Magical Wanderlust

All the things that never once before seen
When I dream a dream within a dream of a dream
I'll only dream a dream within a dream of you
Of Wings, Dreams, and Diamonds Too
